Major awards to the district include:
- Musical instruments, science kits, textbooks and technological grants in 2010
- Technology grants awarded to each school in 2009
- Science kits purchased in 2006 that continue to be used as mobile lab units in all elementary schools
- Edline software which is used this year in all schools within the district to help both parents and students monitor their academic progress, turn in assignments, etc.
- New turf on the high school football field
- Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford/PAS) Robotics program at the high school; http://fordpas.org/about
- Mini-grants distributed to teachers throughout the West Bloomfield School District
