We're a group of concerned parents, residents, and neighbors trying to make sure our children get the education they deserve.

But if you're also wondering if we're credible...great news! We're also the "real deal."

The WBEF is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, founded in 2002 to collect money and distribute it throughout the West Bloomfield School District. Originally our goal was to provide "nice to have" items not afforded in the typical district budget. Now, our goal has changed significantly as a result of the severe cuts to the school budget by the legislators and governor.

Over the past 5 years we've distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in the form of 125 mini-grants to teachers, technology grants to each of the schools and other district-wide grants such as Edline and elementary school science kits.

If you're interested in volunteering, the Foundation would welcome and appreciate your support.

Please email us and we'll get right back to you!
