It's been rough for not only the state of Michigan as a whole, but specifically our schools - WEST BLOOMFIELD schools.
Since 2003, our school district has already cut its budget by $19 million.
Despite these cost reductions, the school district is projected to end the 2010-2011 school-year at a $3.1 million deficit.
And, even more severe state funding cuts are expected in the coming years.
We don't want the education of our kids to be affected by this crisis - so now is the time for us to come together and act.
