WBEF 2013-14 Grant Recipients
The West Bloomfield Educational Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the awarding of 24 grants to district staff under the 2013-14 WBEF Educator Grants Program. The awards total $12,075. All nine district schools, plus the West Bloomfield Transition Center are represented. Listed below are the 2013-14 WBEF grants recipients, the title of their projects and their respective schools.
2013-14 major awards to district teachers include:
- 24 Mini-grants distributed to teachers from all nine district schools, plus the West Bloomfield Transition Center.
- Finch Robots, Science ThinkPads, Viking Microscopes, Kindles, Document Projection System, Studio Lighting, eBooks, Aps and many others involving reading.
- Science kits purchased in 2006 continue to be used as mobile lab units in all elementary schools
- $5,000 donation to the West Bloomfield High School robotic program.
