The West Bloomfield School District Educational Foundation (WBEF) was established in 2002. This 501(c)(3) charitable organization raises funds to support the West Bloomfield School District and its fine educational programs. Since its inception, the WBEF has raised over $1 million donating those funds to the school district and students of West Bloomfield.
The WBEF is governed by a board of directors, all of whom are volunteers that meet monthly. The foundation’s mission is to generate funds for programs and equipment that support student achievement and maintain the high quality of education provided by the West Bloomfield School District.
Over 5,500 West Bloomfield students benefit from the work of the foundation and generosity of individuals, families and businesses. We support numerous programs and initiatives at all district buildings elementary through high school.
Since our 2002 inception, the foundation has hosted several community events to raise awareness of the importance of how public education is funded.
